Our Radical Imaginations: Exploring Self, The Collective, and Possibilities through Liberatory Writing
Radical Imagination is the desire and ability to dream of a just and equitable world. One that is different from what we’ve been told is possible. Radical Imaginations is for the dreamers, builders, believers in liberatory practice for oneself and others.
Since Radical means “from the root,” this circle is for those who are curious and ready to explore the depths of themselves in conjunction with others and the world around them with the understanding that we are all deeply connected.
Radical Imaginations will allow participants to explore the necessity of interdependence and the practice of it through text-reflection and open-hearted writing.
Radical Imaginations as a term was birthed out of Black Feminist and Indigenous struggles and joy-work. We honor these roots through using various texts from BIPoC–including adrienne maree brown, Audre Lorde, and other digital resources–to explore emerging connections on a variety of levels (self, interpersonal, societal, and beyond).
Adults (18+) of all genders are welcome.
