Offered each Fall and Spring semester, our 13-week Core Classes are an invitation into spaciousness and depth, for writers who seek to enrich their writing lives in a consistent and supportive community.

Certified facilitators offer prompts, activities, readings, and other resources to support writing practice, encourage new creative forays, or inspire ongoing projects. Each participant is encouraged to choose and develop their own subject matter and explore it in whatever form they wish.

Each class session is two and a half hours long.  The structure provides solitary writing time, sharing in large and small groups, and the regular opportunity to read aloud to a receptive audience. Journaling, memoir, poetry, and fiction are all welcome in the core class format. Participants learn to give and receive feedback based on each writer’s requests.

Our policy on payments, withdrawals, and refunds can be read here.
