Our writing retreats celebrate the transformative power of writing, voice, and community. At least twice a year, we offer supportive retreat opportunities for women who seek a nurturing space to tend to whatever their writing or writer-spirit needs.

Our retreats, like all of our programs, will meet you where you are, and offer the chance for you to meet yourself and whatever writing calls to you. Skilled facilitation provides structure and ample space to connect in large and small circles for support and inspiration. Writers of all abilities are welcome. We typically hold three retreats per year, in harmony with the seasons: Summer, Winter and Fall. We hope you can join us for one of these meaningful experiences.

NOW OPEN! Fall Retreat at Ghost Ranch: A 5-day, 4-night writing retreat for women and non-binary people at Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, New Mexico, Tuesday, October 27 – Saturday, October 31, 2026

Please note retreat payment policy: 

For all retreats, a non-refundable $150 deposit (or more depending on the cost of the retreat) is required at the time of registration to guarantee your seat in the circle. Registrations received without deposit will be confirmed only when the deposit is received. The balance of your payment must be paid by its due date in order to continue to hold your seat. A registration with an unpaid deposit or a past-due balance may be “bumped” by a paid registration from the waiting list (any paid deposit will not be refunded). Retreats taking place further away from Indiana, both domestically and internationally, may require larger deposits/terms depending on venue requirements.
